Our lovely Franklin House sits in a lovely community.
Recently, the young people and adults noticed that a neighbour was in a spot of bother that required some police support. Although this was a worrying time for everyone, the young people stayed calm and allowed the police to support the neighbour.
The following day, our young person wanted to reassure our neighbour and give them a reason to smile – so they decided to bake some cupcakes and take them to the neighbour! They even went to the shops with their own pocket money (as insisted!) to buy baking ingredients.
They then spent her afternoon making some chocolate cupcakes. Our amazing young person then delivered the well-presented cupcakes to our neighbour who was incredibly grateful.
We are so proud of our young person for being such a caring and supportive neighbour in our lovely community!
